As much as I don't want them to, I think the Sea Bogans will finally win it this year. Attack wise I think they will outscore WSW, especially now Hersi is out.
Watch Arnie state that the real champions are now the GF winners, w@nker!

I think we(WSW) will scrape it. It appears that our name is to be written in the history books this year.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Palace dont come knocking after Pops.... I've said it before on this thread. They'll be forced to do something when Holloway turns out to be a failure, after taking them from top spot to out of the 6. The only thing against it happening is Palace have been bitten 3 times before in using iconic players as managers.... Kember, Taylor, Freedman.... The other side of the coin is is if they dont someone most likely will.
Wouldnt that hurt if Freedman and Popovic end up managing premier league teams.

Any news on Mooy? Not sure if he will make the final.
Bridge has a knack of scoring grand final goals so hopefully he will bag another few, he will really need to step up a gear.

Got to hope my mate will get me a ticket, though I'll be going as a neutral.
I respect what WSW have done this season as I live in North-West Sydney.....but I still have to stick with Sydney FC as my team, even though they are, ahem, 'average' at best. When I first arrived in Australia in 2005 I decided to go with Sydney FC, got the season ticket, the shirt, even went to some away games - still do. I could be bothered to travel to the city in those pre-WSW days, so I can't just change now. Anyway, crucially, beers with the boys is so much better in Sydney city centre than in Parramatta! End of.

One thing that annoys me about you smurfs is that you assume that all WSW fans are turncoat Eastern Sydney FC fans. I never went to an East Sydney game before WSW were formed and I know many others that didn't. Also East Sydney FC claimed to represent all of Sydney whilst having digs at the 'westie' type benefit bludger, can't claim to represent all of Sydney and have digs at the population of the west at the same time. Other than a few community rounds out west Eastern Sydney FC never attempted to connect with the football supporters of the west.
I am proud of the fact that I held out and waited for a team from the west. My last game pre WSW was Parramatta Power V Northern Spirit FC in front of around 250 supporters, the first WSW game of the season was the first time I had attended a football game in Sydney since then.

No news on mooy yet.
I went to a few sydney fc games just for a beer and a laugh. And laugh I did because it was shit. WSW have completely changed my view of aussie footy and all aussie sport in general.

Dont forget we in unchartered waters as far as Football is concerned in this country and the mainstrream media is dead against it. They'll find as many negatives as possible and make them as prominent as possible.
So it's almost politically expediant to get as many people along to games as you can.
Next step a Aussie team in the ACL final... That should get the mainstream public sitting up and taking notice, probably a few years of improvement locally needed yet.
