That's what happened to me at the cake factory. M&S luxury cheescake for 10p a slice, trolleys of cake brought round at break to help yourself too... ugh, can't even think about cake without heaving now...
I used to be able to eat pies and pasties and could buy most things through the shop... As Grand Met were so huge they owned Muller, Green Giant, Memory Lane, etc, etc and we could order from a discounted catalogue... Not that I did often as I was childless at the time.. Used to order more for the rest of the family... I could kill for an almond croissant right now and the only place that I have found that sells them is Starbucks and the closest is 20km away:sneaky: |
