My Aunt worked at Bournville and we had free choccies too.... never put me off, but I worked in Memory lane Cakes for 6 months and haven't eaten factory cake since...:ohmy:

My first job was in Peter's and I don't eat pies.... Memory Lane and Peter's were both owned by Grand Met foods and we used to do the microbiological and chemical testing for you guys...... I loved their death by chocolate and Mississippi Mud Pie:thumbsup:

my brother works at bournville to. He gets the boxies of choc's for a couple of quid.Or i should say used to because they are all sick of them now..

That's what happened to me at the cake factory. M&S luxury cheescake for 10p a slice, trolleys of cake brought round at break to help yourself too... ugh, can't even think about cake without heaving now...
