Landlords Insurance for UK property
Got my renewal from usual insurer - 440 quid. Put out a few requests for cover and most came back higher - One (underwritten by Equity Red Star) much lower. I've never heard of 'em (my usual insurer is a household name)
Has anyone any experience of them?
Apart from obvious (checking that coverage the same, that they cover non resident landlords) is there anything I should look out for?

No experience of them but they are part of IAG (Insurance Australia Group) so would be reputable. However IAG has just agreed to sell to some private equity firm to go through in next six months because of loss making.
