I suspect many Australians and English want to be Scottish and that is why their women are so friendly.

Come on, surely you know that it is everyone's duty to hate the English- after all we did conquer or colonise a very significant portion of the planet, or were mortal enemies of the other "Imperial States"? It is also the English duty to take the ribbing in good spirit as a sign of our benevolent superiority! Stiff upper lip and all that. God Bless Queen Victoria!

As an Australian I find some of the comments on here highly offensive. Naive? We don't know any better? Australians are among the most globally travelled people in the world (just behind the Germans last time I looked.)

We are a little country and we know our place in the world. It's like how 20,000 at Fratten park are more vocal than 70,000 at Old Trafford.
