Re: Kids in their knightwear
And guess what. Go to a seaside supermarket in the UK during the summer holidays and you'll see loads of people barefoot (and bare chested - but unfortunately only blokes )

Go to huge areas of Asia, Africa and South America and you'll find millions of people going around with no shoes and in lots of cases not a lot else either - especially women in Africa. Is that disgusting as well

Hubby was watching Discovery channel the other morning and there was a long scientific explanation as to why actually picking and eating bogies is very good for your immune system. He tried explaining it to me at 7am but I'm afraid I was neither interesting or listening at that time of day

I must admit I would be cautious in oz but only because of the spiders and snakes but how many of those do you see? I mean they are more scared of us aren't they? and if they aren't they should be!

Why? why is it disgusting? We were born nude. There are just as many germs on a bare foot as on the sole of a shoe! Granted the foot is not protected and could step on some glass or sharp object and get hurt...but hey I would walk around in bare feet all the time if I could and I am not in oz yet. I walk around in flip flops all the time already!
