I haven't the heart to splat or mortein them.I open a window,spray them with starch and watch them glide out.

I expected them in perth, partner had warned me, but northern NSW kiama, and melbourne, really surprised me. Can remember taking the kids to a park in melb, really empty, suddenly discovered why
Had only lived there in winter, and didnt think of the CBD as a place with several million flies

Same with sunny coast, you just dont get the bush flies that plague most of OZ in summer.

In all seriousness, I find them a problem a few days a year.

Can't wait til Friday, nothing like sheep poo for attracting millions of the buggers and we have sheep poo arriving to go under the new turf being laId...

Flies - chief guides them outside, haven't had a spray can in the house since the UK.

Find the flies in perth quite entertaining.... One minute they're lazing on the couch, next minute the hounds from hell are ninja attcking thin air.... Flies must taste REAL good to dogs....
