My thoughts over the last 6 years on BE is why a certain type of poster gets so embroiled in such trivia of shops, schools and other such things...and furthermore, why it's always a bad experience, too....that in fact a certain of expat would have been very likely to have going to suffer this and could have been warned off in the initial stages.

Demographics - personality types - my dear Watson! There are certain types of expat who will do well here, and not so well.

There are many in the middle who can fall in to 2 ready camps - those that think it is 'lovely' here - Exhibit A - dolphins - and those - Exhibit B - who wish they could get a ready meal in Waitrose. Both outcomes are equally possible - both paths are open - there is no warning sign at all. There is no way of dealing with some of these(!)

My solution is to have an interview board - er which I wouldn't mind chairing...(lol)
