That was one event that is being shown to confirm he did behave inappropriately because none of the other alleged events were filmed. (As far as anyone knows at the moment anyway). No one has said that it proves he was a Paedo in the literal definition although many people consider any adult who has an unhealthy obsession with anyone under the age of 16 to be a Paedophile. He touched a 14 year old inappropriately. I call him a sleazy abuser, others call him a Paedo.

Agreed.
He was jiggling her and it made her feel uncomfortable. Therefore he was very inappropriate.

The more I read about this case and the more that is revealed makes me sick to my stomach. They are now claiming that there were a ring of paedophiles at the BBC - all looking out for each other and all passing kids on to each other! Jimmy Saville can no longer be brought to justice but I hope the others involved get locked away!

How's is it fair that a potentially innocent man in Freddie Star gets his name all over the papers like this without any charge? ****ing journalists. Scum of the earth.

Freddie STARR tried to stop his name being publicised but it was the courts that deemed it admissable! The journalists were just reporting what was said by the
the victim.

That doesn't make it ok. If he's innocent he deserves his name to be protected.

Yes but that's for the law to decide and they have decided that he could be named.

Yes, but celebrities don't realise that seeking injunctions very often seems to have the opposite effect...

Anyway, I'm sure that Freddie Starr will not be the only person to be named in this sordid affair....this really is just the tip of the ice burg. And to think it went on for three decades!

Correct, but only so because of the media scum.

Most of those who have sought injunctions in the past few years, have done so to cover up their wrongdoings from the public. They haven't done it because they're innocent. If Freddie is innocent then he has my sympathies but he's been badly advised.

While this is largely true, wanting to keep one's name out of the tabloid press should never be considered and admission of guilt...

Completely agree. As I said, I think he was very badly advised to take out the injunction in the first place. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty and if's he's innocent I feel really sorry for him. Unfortunately every supposed A list celeb from the 70s is now going to be under the spotlight.
