JEN'S FIRST TRIP BACK TO THE UK!

Re: 4 MORE SLEEPS TIL MY FIRST TRIP BACK TO THE UK!
I am very excited, this will be the first time I've been back since we left in February 2010. Looking forward to catching up with everyone, have a little schedule together of all of the different people I'm staying with. Dad and my two brothers have hired me a car for the 23 days, so I'll not be depending on people to drive me around. It's just me going over, as my OH's folks have been over since we moved here, and the OH has no desire to see the UK again ever, ha.
I'm aiming to take as little as I can with me, luggage wise and then fill my case up when I'm over there. I also hope to fill a small box full of stuff to send back, can't wait to go nuts in M&S and Next.
I'm quite pleased as I've just recently got to my goal weight, having lost 10.4kg (23 pounds for you Brits) so I'm ever so slightly concerned about the strength of my willpower while I'm there. I do intend to indulge a little but to counteract any damage I do I've already got a load of gym sessions sorted, so here's hoping I don't come back a blob!
Anyone any tips for someone whose going back for the first time since the big Aussie move?

I was at the dietician yesterday. She was going on about moving carbs and calories around the meal so I could have a pudding if I wanted one. She sort of looked bemused when I said I'd rather have a bag of crisps (well, I said chips to her, but you catch my drift).
The problem is, if I start on crisps I have no off button

when we got back to UK we were desperate for some British chocolate.
I'm not sure if we have overdone it, or since Kraft took over chocolate has changed its composition but we currently have a stack of uneaten chocolate in our fridge.
Never thought I would see the day!

Kraft only took over Cadburys to be fair there is lots more better chocolate out there. My wife craves Thorntons and fills her bags with it at every opportunity

When I go back, I always get me Mam to bring my slippers to the airport.
They are lovely and comfy and they are so much better than the slippers I have here.
In the interests of doing due diligence for BE, on my last trip to the UK
(~2007) I made some pertinent excuse and caught the bus to the local Sainsbury. What would I find? The forum had led me to believe that there would be treasures piled to the ceiling.
I had a bit of a lookaround. I asked an assistant whether the 'Buy One Get One Free' (BOGOF) applied to the little midi stereo they had and she rolled her eyes and reiterated the point: 'Bug Off'.
I purchased a bag of Revels and caught the bus back...filtering out the orange centres and discarding the coffee ones.
