Jeff Beck

It's not always someone like Jeff Beck comes to Aus, especially to play somewhere as intimate as the Brisbane Tivoli theatre (normally international artists insist on playing at the worst venue on the planet (Entertainment Centre)). Was wondering if anyone else will be going in April?

I was amazed how fit he looked at the Grammys. Had I not heard him, I don't think I would have believed it was him. Enjoy the concert.

Oh Please Ems, you've just gone down in my estimations. Even Jeff is embarrassed about that one!
Are you gonna go? I will. My dad saw him in Brighton a few months back and said he was brilliant, the best gig he'd seen in 25 years (and he used to be a live music sound engineer). His DVD live at Ronnie Scott's is good too

I wouldn't mind seeing him after all these years. Used to see him regularly in London clubs oh too many years ago!

Have to agree really. For me Clapton is one of the most overrated people in musical history whose only good stuff came from being a member of Cream, whose best songs were written by Jack Bruce
