Perhaps we should. They are even more likely to steer clear of thinking about the procedure than women are regarding pap smears. At least we are relatively used to 'flopping open and relaxing whilst an alien object is inserted'. Heterosexual men do not tend to experience regular rummaging in that particular orifice :blink:

If it's archaic to call both men and women who'll drop their drawers at the drop of a hat and sometimes without knowing the name of the other party an age old descriptive word then it looks like I'm archaic too. Yes it does! I don't care who you sleep with why should you judge anyone else? Maybe it's something to do with the world we inhabit It can hardly be described as sexist when it's aimed at both sexes though imo. But we all know it isn't don't we? its women only, and young women in particular

No, of course I don't think women should be forced and nothing I said implied that. The word was "should" not "must".

And whilst I would never wish cancer on anyone regardless of their lack of care of their own body you have to feel a little sorrier for those who tried to prevent it and failed than for those who didn't bother!

And more men should be exposed to the rubber gloves - in their own best interests of course!!

Personally I'm more inclined to agree with you that peoples sex lives are their own business but NB is entitled to her view too.

I had a nasty perianal abcess ( caused by lifting weights before you lot start)
and the only relief I could gain ( prior to getting an operation to remove) was by sticking a calypo Ice lolly up my bum. not a good time I can tell you!
