Re: Jade Goody
I didn't say we shouldn't - i was talking hypothetically as the poster in debate said they were fed up listening to people going on about Jade's racism - i was only trying to say that forums are an open discussion and that one thing leads to another and conversation can lead anywhere

Re: Jade Goody
sadly she was not lax on her health screening - she had smears and they showed up pre stuff yrs ago which she was treated for
3 yrs ago or there abouts she complained of tummy pains etc - no action was taken
and now sadly she has full blown cervical cancer
Goody had a number of health scares throughout the 2000s. In 2002, shortly before her Big Brother 3 appearance, she had a cervical smear test which revealed abnormal cells, a possible indicator of cancer.[92] She was later tested for ovarian cancer in 2004 and bowel cancer in 2006, but was given the all-clear on each occasion.[92][93] She underwent hospital tests in early August 2008 after her fourth cancer scare. She had already collapsed four times. The test results confirmed she has cervical cancer; she was told of this on 19 August 2008 while in the Indian version of Big Brother, called Bigg Boss.[93] Her spokesperson said, "It looks like her cancer is at an early stage but we will have to wait until she gets back to Britain and sees a specialist and has more tests".[94]

Here we go...
Most of the time you can't say what you really think on BE as you get your head ripped off, then Oldies (like me) stop giving advice and stuff and disappear cos we get sick of it.
So anyway, poor girl, poor kids, should bring in Euthanasia for people who want to die.
That will most likely be misconstrued as well, don't you find text messaging is mostly misunderstood in some way?

I'm all for voluntary euthanasia with terminal cases, but definately not for involuntary euthanasia - there's been way too many people come out of comas after god knows how long - and been fine, just need to catch up with memories etc. - and that's after the docs telling the families if they do wake up, they will be brain dead!
That's far too scary

Re: Jade Goody
I agree.
someone close to me is ill and I wish they could have made a decision. Watching someone so vibrant, so smart and loved slip away is horrible.
I think the thing is with Jade Goodie is that it is not who she is but who she represents. Normal people, that's what scared me. If they can miss her cancer (whether or not she shoullda, wouldda, couldda) they can miss ours.
Just brings you back to earth with a bump. lol don't want to have worked my bum off for this wonderful life in Australia to be told I only have three months to live.
ok getting melancholy now lol
starting to worry myself lol

Re: Jade Goody
Totally agree Lacey. I also read this morning that Wendy Richards has also made a documentary about her final months of life in a bid to help people understand the disease and its treatments.
Here's hoping between these 2 brave women, they'll have saved many more lives.

I wish people who receive abusive karma/PM/Email would report the sender to Mods or Admin. They obviously believe they can get away with bullying because no one does anything and whilst it doesn't bother some, it does others so it needs to be stopped.

I spose the punters there aren't doing life changing stuff though.
Some of the posters are proud of their negative scores.
Could be worth a look !
Funny thing is the Jade Goody thread on there brings the most negative posts as well.
