....and the rest of qld by the look of things. I drove the mrs to work this morning, only a couple of miles away on the other side of the city, but it still took about 45mins there and back.
Looking out my office window, I normally have a nice view of the river, southbank, west end, all the way out to indooroopilly, mount coutha and bardon. Today it is grey and miserable outside, my feet are wet and my shoes soggy.
Still - nice weather for ducks.

Not seen any ducks out down here - too wet even for them
Chucking it down big time and the wind's picking up (as promised). Pool and tank are overflowing and the creek, normally a trickle, is bubbling away nicely. Don't you love this time of year with the dry, sunny, warm days

We're Bayside and the kids were meant to be going on camp but alas it's cancelled!
Roads are becoming more difficult to get across. When it rains here it certainly rains!!!!

possums, you should check out GOMA on southbank, and the science museum and the contemporary gallery, all good places on a rainy day.

I think a better title would have been:
It's STILL raining in Brisbane!
I'm all for rain but I'm getting a bit sick of it at the moment, luckily I only have to go out for school runs though.

Combined dam levels went up 3.5% overnight, to approx 63%.
Wasn't it down to 18% last year, and we were going to have to ship in water from new zealand or something ? How times change.
