Sometimes I have water with about 14% alcohol, this too has flavourings, mostly a kinda grape flavour.
At the servo I buy plain water, 2 bottles for $3.50 atm for mount franklin, not a bad deal.
When I fly Im quite happy to drink any freakin water I can get my hands on since you cant take your own on board and its a dry climate on a plane.
Bloody whinger........

I'm really quite amazed at the ignorance of Qantas air stewards. Last week I came off an international Qantas flight during which I asked for sparkling water and was offered soda water. I explained that it was water I wanted; did they have water with gas. Yes was the reply...they had soda water.
I tried to explain, to no avail, that soda water wasn't water but I had to give up as they kept telling me "it's the same thing".
This is the second time within 5 months this has happened to me on this airline.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

If I asked for water, and got water....I'd be mightily pissed off!:curse:

That article says that .........
Carbonated water and soda are both blamed for taking away calcium from the human body thus making the bones weak. Too much of indulgence in both is certainly harmful.
If that is so then all the Italians that live on naturally fizzy, spring and mountain water and never drink plain water, should have osteporosis or all the kids should be deformed.

I'm with Toot on this one
I occasionally put a splash of sparkling spring water with my wine, but I don't like wine and soda
