Out of interest, what do you consider soda water to be if not water? Obviously they didn't have sparkling water which I wouldn't be happy with either but I'd be happy enough with soda water.

That's it, and you could always add some white wine to it if it's not a good enough alternative

We call water with a tea in it tea, coffee, coke etc etc etc. Most drinks are mainly water with flavourings/additives. Soda water is the same. Water it aint!
