I've got one, it's totally silent and handles everything.
Great machines I've got two of the earlier Acer Revo models: My wife uses one for email, etc and I have another running 24/7 and hooked up to the TV, a skype cordless phone and also use it as a printer server. We bought one from ebuyer when we were in the UK and got the other shipped to us here from Taiwan via eBay.

The rl80 is a lot cheaper here. I used to buy lots from eBuyer, such a shame they don't ship to Australia.

That PC may cost less but most of what ebuyer sells is cheaper in Australia - and you can get it locally (MSY) rather than waiting for an internet delivery

I've said it before - the UK is not a cheap place to buy tech (although there are exceptions)

I tend to shop home and abroad on a case-by-case basis but a user friendly site with lots of bargains is rare here in Australia. Take MSY for instance: it's about as chunky as the sites we had in the UK 20 years ago.

MSY's site is crap and their service is poor but their prices are second only to the US

Saying that, the motherboard that I bought recently was faulty and they replaced it with no argument

It was proving to be really wife unfriendly - women and tech don't mix

So I've set up Firefox (which I have found to be the best browser for streaming - Chrome is hopeless) desktop icons for the BBC iplayer, 4oD, Channel 5 and ITV websites. xbmc is now only used to stream from the NAS

We have harmony

I'm currently working my way through this list on Netflix:

I believe you need to set your Netflix area to UK on Unblock-us, that's what I did anyway, don't know how many of these are on US Netflix.

I've watched 4 of these so far and they've all been great.
