Their support is great...but if you've got hardware failure or need to go to a shop, it can be less great as it's just not very practical.

Anyway, as good as the kit is, I've seen just as much software and hardware failure from a Mac as anything else...they aren't magical bits of kit in that regard.

I recommend you start with the website I gave you a link to. Don't get too ambitious too soon. Good luck.

He's right though, Apple launched a update with a far superior product for the sake of it and that's something you were saying they don't do.

No and, as you explained yourself, I'll explain myself. i said they tend to improve on existing technologies. I didn't say they've never got it wrong. Maps is a mess right now.
