No you should use normal long grain rice. I find adding a chicken Buhna also helps as can a popadum or two but don't .........whatever tou do.......even think about lime pickle

hi lynn

my wee boy left his ds outside for a week and it was soaking, put it on the radiator and tried the rice, took about 2 weeks for it to dry out!!

Did you never get taught to check the pockets before you wash stuff Hope it dries out OK.

Hi,

Just wanted to let you all know that the rice trick worked and my daughters ipod is once again functional I just left the earphones sitting on the bench in the kitchen and they even work

I've got one happy child again.
