maybe i`m just a cynic but my gut feeling was and still is that its nothing more than a publiciy stunt for the goverment
why in the middle of the speech did he go on about fullfilling this election promise ??
it was supposed to be an apolagy yet he turned into pro goverment propaganda ??

I agree with that, they did not give a shit about them for over a 100 years, why start now.

Actually the average aborigine would be alot smarter these days as they have had their minds opened to a different & better way of thinking.
Of course they're probably unhappier though - white mans world is about pushing oneself to achieve. This way of living doesn't sit well with some people.
