I agree - so many singers sound American - put on the American accent when singing - I've always wondered why that is. Then again, Abba didn't sound Swedish when they sang. How do they do it?

I'm northern - Stoke-on-Trent - very unglamorous unless your name is Robbie Williams!!

Never heard the Arctic Monkeys and Elbow - where are they from?

I used to listen to the Mac Lads. Very rustic!!!

By the way - what does ''mardy bum'' mean?

See, a flatcake to me is a HUGE teacake

I used to have a full english breakfast in a flatcake every Thursday morning when I worked at the Bingo. Thursday morning was the day we emptied all the slot machines...hard work I can tell you!
