Then there was this one:
Emphasis on Here in Australia, and positive opinions about Australia. As it happens you will see that many of my posts are statistical, and are not specifically positive on Australia as such. Tax Rates, Populations etc Others are ideas on prices on how some areas of Australia cheaper than other areas of Australia. By default if I say that a loaf of bread is $1.10 in one shop but $3.40 in another shop, I am being positive about one Australian shop and negative about another Australian shop. However that gets turned into me being a person who doesn't seem to give anything other than positive opinions about Oz. I am still trying to work out the logic in that. I actually rarely compare the UK to Australia. And to be honest, there is nothing that I would say is crap here in Australia for me. But then, we may just have different definitions on the meaning of "Crap". I consider crap to be something sufficiently bad enough to warrant complaint. |

I don't believe in god or even God. Where does that leave me? I think you're being over generous in considering me to be your god but thanks anyway.

The problem is that I can't think of anything. I know I have a bad memory, so maybe I just forget ? I need you help with suggestions that I can consider, to see if there is something that I can say is "Crap" about my life in Australia... Fire away with any ideas ... I havent seen anyone suggest the superiority of UK shopping (supermarkets, fashion, etc)..... :D Food for thought? WW |
Re: I need your help
I mentioned shopping. I didn't fully describe my complete anguish at my loss though. I could go on and on - clothing, food, furniture etc. I also find things so expensive here.
I do have a saving grace though in a mother in law who buys every single garment my children wear in the UK - which is great. Its so odd though you get these really unusual t-shirts at next then next season the identical item will come into Target but with different words etc. The food here is great but I want Marks, sainsburys and tesco. I am used to just missing it though, you get over it I think and things like clothes dont seem so important to me any more. It doesnt really matter on the coast. |
