But many people like to compare UK to Australia, after all, that is a very important thing for people considering moving from one country to the other, and it is good to get the alternative points and opinions.

It was just an observation of the general trends of this board.

General trends on all the hundreds of expat sites on the internet. It's not an Aus vs. UK thing, it's a birth country vs. current country thing.

Maybe we should call it the "my dad's bigger that your dad" phenomenon.

I think I remember why I hardly ever post on here any more.

But for the record, if ABCD and Moneypen are weird then count me in as one of the weirdos. I was never accused of being too positive, but the constant complaining from so many people on here used to drive me insane.

At the risk of going back to the start of the thread, I found something today that drives me nuts about Australia.







My sunglasses get caught up in my hair every time I put them on the top of my head going into shops etc. With having long curly hair its really annoying because it pulls my hair every time I got to put my sunglasses on again.


Its serious stuff I tell you!

Even worse are those individual hairs which get caught in the hinges and tickle your face!!

I don't have that problem either
