If you actually take the time to look, they do have speed signs spaced out along
the roads and streets in this fair land, but then maybe you are going too fast to notice them. If in doubt, get a vehicle that has a speed alarm fitted to tell you if you are exceeding the set limit. We've got one.

I've got the all the speed cameras and the locations where the radar sites are, downloaded onto my tomtom here in the uk.....It must be possible to get the same for the australian tomtoms

Theres plenty for uk speed traps

And they are often broadcast on local radio and local press

Not sure what the laws are for oz but in the uk police have to state where the mobile ones will be operating on any given day

I'm not sure either but i'm not sure they stick to the rules anyway. They are a bit of a law unto themselves over here.

you can argue or even go to court to contest their decision but i don't think you'd ever win.

Maybe someone can provide evidence to the contrary but i have my doubts.

If you look at the site I posted a link to above it lists all speed camera locations both fixed and mobile for every state in australia...should come in handy

I was always told you can ONLY get done if it's fitted, and IN USE. Fitted and powered by a cable to cig lighter, which accidently fell out just before you got pulled over, and they can't do nowt! ...

Yeah or just around the bend on a motorway!

They move about all the time and I fail to see how any website can keep up with locations!
