Default The Hurt Locker

Watched this last night and really enjoyed it - it is unashamedly right-wing and pro-military, which is right up my street.

The bit where the UK SAS get taken out but the Yanks don't is a bit stupid but overall it's a pretty accurate, gripping movie.

I hope it wins some oscars.

Was that the dramatic ending or just an integral part of the plot ?

It was a bit stupid as sniping with a weapon like that out to 800m is not something you do 'part-time'. It takes shit loads of practice and few people have the ability to do it. The black guy just grabs the weapon (which would not be set up for him) and all of a sudden he's an expert. I don't think so.
