A man who gave himself a DIY circumcision using nail clippers was taken to hospital for emergency treatment. The young man had to be rushed to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. The wound was disinfected to cleanse it before he was given a bed in an observation ward.

Living in Stevenage does have that sort of an effect on you.

The title of this thread suggests there is a recommended way to circumcise yourself.

Notice the lack of details so they padded with old news - there is a lot of that happening nowa days.

Funnily enough I have heard of someone doing that before in the UK and I am wondering whether this is a rehash of old news to fill space in the paper.

Why anyone would chose to live in Stevenage is beyond me, why they would try and circumsize themselves with nail clippers is more understandable

lol - Stevenage. 'kin 'ell I was glad to see the back of that place. Five years of secondary school there was enough for me.

Used to frequent a pub (loose definition) there. The Long Ship or The Ship - something like that. Massive place with sticky floors and lots of Stevenage losers. My excuse was a boyfriend was on the staff.

I know form personal experience that there is a 12 month waiting list on the NHS for this particular operation and to be fair to him he has managed to find one way to jump the queue.
