Like I said Ed, what some guy in England thinks of me is so far off my radar right now.

I call their bluff.

Teens want to argue, shock em;) Calmly say I am sorry you have decided not to finish school, however that is your choice, your life.

Here are a pile of Mcdonalds, hungry jacks, Big W applications/websites. The local fish processing plant is looking for staff too. That should pay the rent on your flat, food, phone, internet, transport, clothes, electricity, healthcare....

Smarty pants mark II calmed down a hell of a lot after one of those conversations.

Which is why I wonder why you just keep coming back and having another dig if you really dont care ? It just seems odd. I mean I genuinely dont care what someone like you says.

It is hormonal, they really cant help it. We have it all to look forward to, twice LOL. Having said that ours are wonderful kids and I'm sure like me they will just breeze through the teen years :)
I agree though, dont rise to the arguments and let them see the error of their ways.

You post such blinkered rubbish yet criticise others if they do the same.

Tried that, she doesn't care. Thinks that is too far ahead to worry about. Tried confiscating stuff, not giving money etc in return she goes AWOL and has everyone worried. Oh well, there will always be a job for her at Liquor Barons after all they won't go bust just yet ;)

The eldest went AWOL for a while, moved in with the girlfriends parents, ohhh poor lad, yeah right:sneaky:

A month later he was driving them insane:lol: and they sent him back.

Wine, movie, treat yourself:thumbup:. One day they will have kids and you can laugh back.

She is 14 and she goes AWOL and is just sat in a park somewhere. I can't grasp another parent allowing a child to stay when clearly it isn't acceptable to the other parent. If a 14 year old rocked up here and the parent wanted her home I would be returning her straight away. Hopefully she realises before it is too late or it really will be a career in Red Rooster!

There has been an internal regime change, the transitory period will be rocky but it has to be done.

Think Iraq but without the side-splitting humour.
