Default Hiya!

Hiya there,

How are you all? I'm Claire, and am living here in Adelaide (have been for two weeks) and my boyfriend Ben will be joining me once he finishes his current job in the UK in two months time (yes, am getting a bit panicky as am preggers too) and even though am enjoying it, am missing him and certain home comforts!!

Is the chat thingy working because that would be good to get to know each other, don't you think?!

Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all in due course!

Oh hiya Emma (and irishblod!)!

Thanks!! Oh God tell me about it - it's a nightmare! After my initial infatuation stage (first couple of days), the rot began to set in and then was at the end of my tether with myself thinking 'Claire, why have you done this to yourself?' you know? It's just a bit horrid being on your own in a foreign country, even if everyone speaks English, isn't it?! You were very brave then by the sounds of it! No, I don't, which makes it even harder!! Hopefully will be able to make friends on here though!!

Hi Claire

Welcome to BE and congrats on your move to Adelaide and your pregnancy.

We are hoping to move to the Adelaide area too

Can I ask, how you got your job offer? It is possible (although highly improbable) that I could come out with my 2 LOs ahead of my hubby, if I got a job offer, but not having any particular quals, just work experience, I'm not sure if I would have enough appeal for an offer thousands of miles away IYSWIM.

Hope you don't mind me asking the Q and feel free to PM me if you don't wish to post details

Rasen

This thread has been started by a previously banned troll who is neither in Australia or pregnant. This person has done this before.

The reason I've not deleted the entire thread is so those of you that have responded will see this and will maybe want to review any private contact you may have offered.
