Bloody annoying that isn't it, my daughter had the same thing happen to her at school. She asked her dad what the question she was asked meant and then went away and found out the answer for herself. I do feel schools these days should just hand the answers out on a sheet. Making them think for themselves is just a really silly idea in this day and age.

The opposite of the educate isn't that obvious.
Could be any of these but none is precise: miseducate, confound, misinform.
Uneducated is the opposite of educated but here is no such word as 'uneducate'.

I know what you mean, but also, if you rely on computers, your kids will miss the basics, such as spelling (use a spell checker), mathematics (use a spreadsheet), research using books (use google) etc etc, and so be so reliant on computers as to be absolutely useless without one.
I think its important to learn the basics, like linguistics, arithmetic, spelling so you can actually write a letter or do some sums without having to turn on a computer.
So until my kids have mastered the basics, no they aint getting near a computer.

THEY ARE 3 YEARS OLD AND 2 YEARS OLD FOR GAWDS SAKE, lay off the tech. Play with toys and dollies and wooden train sets and teddies and sandpits etc.
Tech is for teenagers, let kids be kids

Interestingly I had a quick look online and found another kid using his dad's computer asking the same question yesterday.
