I haven't had much spare time really, so not got around much - well apart frpm to shop It's a bit cold at the minute too, so trips to the beach are rare. We are going to a zoo this weekend if the weather is OK.
Not had any bad experiences at all. The people are really friendly and all is well.

Chris went into year 8 - would have been year 9 in the UK. He wanted to start with kids the same age.
Beth is in year 2 - like she would have been in the UK. The teacher say's she is settling well considering the kids are all older than her. It's a mixed clasee though (year 2 & 3) so in February she'll be in the middle of them all, so it won't be too bad.

Got a nice deal on a 80GB PC and all in one printer/scanner for just $899.
Have to wait for broadband, they said up to 10 working days, mainly because whoever rented the house before us didn't disconnect the phone so had to send rental agreement to them before I could order it

I hate dial up, it's really slow. But then it's better than nothing and I get two months free
I love the shopping bit, but am glad it's more or less done. I'm knackered
