I hope there is no re-run and things like closed borders, jobkeeper, martial law, dictatorships are gone for good. Lucky for you in WA, you get to hang on to a few of these concepts a while longer.

I suspect he pre-dates that era by a few hundred years. The Enlightenment advocated the separation of church and state, the pursuit of knowledge through reason, and the promotion of the scientific method. Calling for entire states to be infected with severe disease to scare them into getting vaccinated is exactly the opposite of that, i.e. "something that happened to other people":I think thinking is so important.

Now that's a novel idea. Something like this could help Queensland. After all, there are so many anti vaxxers, paranoid souls, who haven't got the ability to protect themselves, their fellow humans, their hospital system and their economy. A drastic carrot and stick approach but you might be on to something.

Got the booster during the week. 2 weeks early from the 6 month point from the second jab.

I believe the advice now is any time from 5 months after the second jab.

No effects from jab 1 or 2. Jab 3 was a big sore arm.

Same. Not by choice. I asked for AstraZeneca for the 3rd but not doing boosters with that anymore unfortunately.

I took AZ for first two, but I think my GP is doing Pfizer for 3rd. The first AZ had me feeling it for the first 24 hours so not sure how I'll go but hoping for no reaction.

It was fine. Just a little unusual given 1 and 2 were symptoms free.

I think it's Pfizer for the 3rd. And maybe Moderna. Any mild symptom is better than a stint in hospital with Covid in my view. Silly season here and Covid is rampant so it's good to be loaded up on the vaccine.

I haven't read anything that suggests mixing is bad - good if anything. I think some trigger better responses in some defences than others and others are better at other jobs. Mixing it up sounds very wise.
