Funny though, because whatsherface used the same tactic about the unimpressed Mum.

I cringed with embarrassment at his interview and then shivered with grimshaw's.............

This is whats its about, its embarasing to say the least, the network and media need to get a grip, obviously no juicy news at the moment, must be a flat spot

A few lessons to learn from this, and two of them are:

1: Never assume your sense of humour is the same as someone elses

But more importantly ...

2: Never pick a fight with someone who has the power to use a National TV program to answer back

There are many comedians who do a lot worse in their stand-up routine and are far more scathing than what Gordon Ramsay did. Aussies have become so precious.

Gordon shouldn't have apologised. He should have turned to the press and said "harden the f ** k up Australia".

Why Australia as a whole ? How many people are involved in this ?

And should he have said the same to his mum ?

How would you like it if someone said you looked like a pig, and not done in a comedy routine ?

He even said that if someone had said that to his wife he would have decked them.

There are some real two faced opinions flying about.

It's funny how many people have got nationalistic about this. It's especially funny as Gordon is not a big fan of poms at the best of times.

People are taking this way too serious ffs, why is it affecting people in such a shocking way?

It's Gordon Ramsay, it's what he does, and he does it well, if people don't like it- piss off and turn the telly over!

Well all the sanctimonious ones that are up in arms about it.

British media contacted his mum and apparently she denied bollocking Ramsay on the phone. Don't know the truth though.

I've seen the video. He was clearly trying to be entertaining and funny. He is just not a very good comedian though. Everything needs to be taken in context and clearly in this instance it should be taken with a pinch of salt.

He even said that if someone had said that to his wife he would have decked them.
Of course he said that but if he was out at the comedy club with his wife and the comedian takes the piss out of her, would he then proceed to deck him? I think not.

Yep, everybodys got them.

Your Celtic support has been revoked and please report to the headmaster.

He portrayed himself as Mr Family man, showing his happy house full of kids as much as possible in his programmes and all the time hes was shagging some other woman. What a nugget.

Good on him I say; just the way nature intended men to be.

Man cannot live on bread alone and a bit of fresh meat doesn't go astray.
