Yeah right, how many companies are legally liable for their software crashing and users losing data? If that was the case Microsoft would be bloody bankrupt by now....

It'd have to go a long way to beat Opera 9.5 for me - I may give it a try when I get onto a PC but it will have to do a lot to beat Opera for what I want.

A web browser is a web browser, providing they all support the same CSS, DOM and JS standards I couldn't give a toss what one people use. I'm just sick of tweaking layouts to fit the peculiarities of various browser implementations.
Thank god I don't do UI for a living.

Firefox is best for the nerds becuase of all the plugs.
Chrome seems for like safari ie great if you just want a basic browser.

Hate the interface. Totally underwhelmed by the whole thing. Will be sticking with Firefox for the foreseeable future.

I am on it now , and I like it. I wish it had less white space on the side. The tabbed window page is excellent. Its no real speed difference to firefox 3.0. I would use chrome simply as a thank you for google maps and street view.

Liking it mostly (used it for the past few days) - but it does seem to have problems with pdfs - when I try to read pdfs and listen to iplayer at the same time it keeps rewinding the radio, very bizarre and also won't open of my uni pages!
Facebook is fine though - so its all good
Only tried it because we have been having lots of problems with firefox lately, seems to be conflicting with zonealarm, we have downloaded all of the patches but still keeps timing out.

I think it is a good move for Google as they depend on 'tinternet for their revenue so it stands to reason that they want to make the whole experience of accessing their content, apps etc... to be as quick, safe and enjoyable as possible to ensure people do not blame their apps when they have problems, when it is actually a non-standard, shoddy browser...
