I am on the lookout for something good to read, the first page has to draw me in and so does the summary.
The Slap is pretty good actually have you read that?

I got that book for xmas but haven't started it yet.

Also got marilyn mansons autobiography which is supposed to be brilliant even though i know absolutely nothing about the bloke, and i'm not a fan either.

Oh well, better than the courier mail i suppose

I'd rather see that than something like "how to identify poisonous toadstools"

I enjoyed "A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian" (Ems recycle it - its in my bin pile - its great!)

I also like the mosquito coast by theroux, refuse to watch the film cause the books so good.

I also read and was vaguely interested "my name lon you like me" about a girl who is a prostitute in thailand. Not well written at all but just relevant to what I was thinking about in phuket.

I need more books - how expensive is it here!

Thats a superb one, both my sister and I loved that one, very funny - but bits of it also quite thought-provoking.

Re-reading (for about the 10th time) Fag Hag by Robert Rodi - desperately funny but poignant book, give it a go if you can get hold of it.
Should put fear into the heart of every bloke who feels he is being stalked by an unstable female friend, regardless of whether he is gay or not!
