Yeah, had a couple in the house last summer... One was a scream... Fell into the stainless steel sink and couldn't get out again 'cos the sides were too slippery for it...

Those spiders are not huge by the way in the video. the soldier is holding them close to the camera. I saw that a while ago. Still amazing creatures. here is a link to some stories and truths about them.

I remember when I saw that picture BEFORE I came to Australia - no-one would tell me if that's a kitchen roll or a toilet roll !

Now I'm here, I not bothered by them - just keep an eye out for redbacks and whitetails. I've only seen a hunstman once around the house and it was dead by then.
