I just had a fly land on my hand....I nearly hit the ceiling...all this talk of spiders is making me a nervous wreck..:curse:

When my dad was in the army...years ago...his mate was killed by a camel spider..it injects some sort of anesthetic into you to numb the area and then it munches away...they can jump prigging high cos have to latch on to the belly of a camel..hence the name!!! nasty bastards they are.

Fell into the stainless steel sink and couldn't get out again 'cos the sides were too slippery for it...

Those spiders are not huge by the way in the video. the soldier is holding them close to the camera. I saw that a while ago. Still amazing creatures. here is a link to some stories and truths about them.

Now I'm here, I not bothered by them - just keep an eye out for redbacks and whitetails. I've only seen a hunstman once around the house and it was dead by then.
