Don't like the sausages here much, and used to love the Tesco pork sausages with apple. However, I recently bought some nice pork bangers in Coles, made with apple and cider. Very nice, and as close as I will ever get to the Tesco ones I think!

You do realise that under secret trade agreements between the uk and australia coles is allowed to import tescos pork n apple onthe condition they repackage them as their own.

My oh was the same when he came over at Christmas - he had a "sausage fest" for a whole month, trying every different variety from every butcher.
I don't think we've touched any since he left!
He has found some in Coles which he thinks are pretty good though too. Irish ones??

Yes Coles finest range of Beef Sausages are not bad at all and can often be found on special offer, from what I remember we they do seem nicer than UK supermarket bangers but we used to eat them less back than so I could be wrong.
We never buy chicken sausages so can't comment on that.

If you have some dollars to spare you can find some lovely "posh" bangers in the David Jones food court at the Westfield in Bondi Junction.
We go there roughly once a quarter (otherwise we would become very poor) and there are all kinds of amazing stuff like fresh pasta, great cheese selection, american hickory BBQ sauce, chocolate roses......................
