Thought for the day...

In choosing a life partner, would you rather be with someone who was obese or bankrupt?

And why?

Love of my life was poor ( not bankrupt), so was I at the time, but it was the most wonderful relationship, pity we were too young to continue on with it.

Obese, sorreee no way Just being honest. I just really hate watching people stuff themself with fast food, I would have to comment I cant stand the sights you get in all you can eat restaurants, quality not quantity thats me.

I guess I'd choose the one I loved. Neither would be a deal breaker.

What if they were obese and bankrupt? Who determines what's obese anyway? Many people are listed as such in from my perspective they're not. Sorry, got a bit serious there

I'm staying clear as I believe Corby is now fat and poor...

She's unattractive outside and ugly inside but she's not fat and she's most definitely not poor.

Corby is just the product of her circumstance - nothing less nothing more.
There are far worse specimens out there...who haven't been convicted - and plenty of nicer people too.

This is my considered response - (easier than tapping away on a phone...)

I know a woman who is obese, overweight but carries it well because she was, and still is, a beauty - clever and talented and - with a fair amount of coin too.

So it would be a yes from me.
The thing is though, she wears that weight well.

An obese, slovenly, dejected person is something else entirely.

As for poor - depends on what you mean by poor. A bankrupt person might have made one mistake - and be ready to hold down a great job and rebuild. A poor person might be poor in the sense they don't see shopping as the be all and end all - and have riches that money can't buy.

I couldnt find an obese woman attractive so it would have to be poor especially as money isnt important to me.

How big is obese? I've met women who are not obese with floppy arms and softening and spreading shoulders...

infact when I see what is in store for some women in middle age - a bit of a tummy is the least of their issues...
