Re: Enough already !!!!
It's not Valentine's Day, it's Tiddler's and the MiLs birthday. Get it right.

Re: Enough already !!!!
Anyway...We don't do Valentine's day, birthdays, and judging by the old man's less than stellar performance for our 20th we don't celebrate anniversaries anymore.

Tiddler was due on the 7th. She finally arrived on the MiL's 60th. My MiL is lovely. Did tell her not to expect such an awesome pressie ever again though.

We don't do Valentine's Day.. but.. Himself is never sure whether I'm serious or not when we have the following conversation the night before VD.
Himself: 'Shit, is it Valentine's Day tomorrow?'
Moi: 'Er... yes. Does that mean you couldn't be bothered to get me anything.. again?'
Himself: 'But you said that...'
Moi: 'That was a trap, love, to see if you really cared.'
Kid#1 (entering in, halfway through): 'Have you really not got Mum anything for Valentine's Day?'
Kid#2: 'No. Looks like he just doesn't love her enough.'
Himself: 'Well.. so long as you aren't expecting anything first thing.....'
Moi: 'Er, no, I don't want something as an after thought. It's either there when I wake up or just don't bother.'
Kid#2: 'Reckon its a 'not bothered', Mum'
Kid#3 (wandering in): 'Has Himself not got Mum anything for Valentine's Day?'
Kid#1: 'No, he couldn't be bothered'
Kid#3: 'Don't you love Mum any more?'
Himself: 'Of course I do!! She said she didn't want anything!!'
Kid#2: 'And you believed her?' :: shakes head sadly ::
Himself: 'Hang on.. have you got me anything for tomorrow?'
Moi: 'No. I knew you hadn't got me anything so I didn't want you to feel guilty'
We have the same conversation every year.. it just doesn't get old
