I suppose the concern has to be: where has he been and what has he been doing in the two days since his return....how many people has he had contact with?

It's a little scary, but apparently ebola is not contagious until a person is actually suffering symptoms of the virus and is only spread through direct contact with bodily fluids.

Buried in the news article it says 'they don't know if he has ebola or just the flu yet as they haven't tested him'.
But that doesn't make as good a headline or scare monger as well. Dr Gerrard, a world-renowned infectious diseases expert, said initial clinical assessment of the 25-year-old made it "exceedingly unlikely" he had the highly infectious disease but he would remain in isolation as further tests were undertaken.
