Re: The "Dull" thread
Today will be spectacularly dull around here due to kid being at Granny's. I didn't wake up until 10:30 (woo-hoo!) so it will be short daylight-wise also.
There will be a run to the Bottle Shop, some brisk walking in anticipation of consuming the proceeds of said run and some progress on Deus Ex - Human Revolution. Which is so dull for non-gamers I refuse to talk about it, even here

I like to have a slice of brown toast followed by a slice of white toast as dessert.

That confused the crap out of me for a minute then !
So if we are going to mention dull places in the UK....
Then the Dullest place I've ever spent a holiday is either Camber Sands or Leysdown. Although the Nuclear power station at Dungeness made Camber Sands a rather unique holiday destination.
Do people still go to Leysdown ?

Can you actually tell the difference between roo and sheep poo ? Only in the Bush.... and 10/10 on the Dullness stakes.
I stopped in Horsham your home town I think... On my way to Adelaide for a MV game... I must say it's got a half decent Mcdonalds... one of the last ones I've eaten.
What else does Horsham Boast ?

I drove down to Camber Sands just to watch a big meteor shower one year.
I'm odd like that.
Have I drifted into 'not dull' territory?
Then I will mention Bognor.

I could send you a copy of the Visio file I currently have open, and you could help me re-arrange my furniture for the umpteenth time?
(Yes, my life is really that exciting. And I'm really that anal that I have a Visio file of my apartment layout and all my furniture. The man in Freedom Furniture almost wet himself with excitement when he saw it.)

Being low-tech (but equally dull) I had a small notebook with miniaturised room plans, swatches and flooring/counter/door samples.
I thought you'd banned Freedom?

In a shameless attempt to increase the dullness factor, I've just sorted out my knicker drawers. Delighted to find that my new tallboy drawers each take 12 of those little linkable boxes from Kmart perfectly, enabling me to sort and store everything from my g-strings to my best granny knickers with ease.
