As long as people don't learn to sign from the bloke who did the signing for Nelson Mandela's funeral! Did you see the subtitle error made on the BBC news? The subject was the Chinese Lunar New Year, the Year of the Horse. The subtitle read:
Welcome to the year of the whores. People around the globe celebrate. Wayhey, party!! I thought Nelson Mandelas interpreter was signing some weird African signs :D |

The so called "h" at the end of "aitch" is not the sound h makes on its own. It is part of the ch sound,as a digraph. Others are also not pronounced as they are in words, like the w sound, (and if I was going to be really fussy, the y doesn't make the sound it has at the start or end of words since it is a semi vowel in some words and depends on position and vowel or consonant for its pronunciation.)
how can you even write them down? Unless you agree about the sound...and the notation used..still seems a bit strange.... |

...and the K from nothing. Thank you.
