can i just add, being a little piddled im gonna speak my mind, so dont please take offence ( or a gate) soz coulndnt resist, you are so young, ok you dont know the place or anybody but please do accept invitations as you may meet some brill people at them and learn something from them, better to regret something you've tried than something you havent, good luck and take care.

I certainly do, and it's very valid. It will take some time to adjust. I lived in London for a year then flew to christchurch NZ. I felt like I had arrived at some desolate backwater Going from like an 8 million + city to one of 300,000 is a big head spin, same as what you are experiencing right now.
