It matters to me. The way it was described here lead me to believe it might taste nice. At $4 / 300 g it would want to. It didn't. Which makes me wonder if it is normally ordinary or just the jar I bought was from a tasteless batch.

I know turnip, I know a swede when I taste one. Not a skerrick of either taste in the bottle I purchased. Perhaps it was a bad batch and, instead of sending it to landfill, they sent it to Australia - plenty of big holes there.

Or your palette is stuffed? Not everybody likes the same stuff and it needn't be good to be popular. Aussie beer sells very well

Buy another couple of jars . . . do a sort of taste test?
