Know what you mean, I made Scouse the night before last thanks to the supermarket next door having some NZ lamb in.....still some left.

Cheese (& bits of ham)on toast with HP sauce is a good quick 'English' snack/meal - even the missus will partake despite the presentation. :lol:

try a cheesy hammy eggy:

toast base, nice thick slice of ham then melt the cheese on top. Finnish off with a fried egg. If using as a main meal add chips sorted:thumbsup:

No chips here - does it work with rice?

Often chop 'em to make oily tortilla de patatas but never ever made proper chips here, bacon's a big miss too - substitute is the huge jamon I brought back from Spain in Jan. :lol:

Last night it was chicken breast with a light garlic sauce with mashed(proper) spuds and a fresh side salad,bloody lovely n all:thumbup:
