Actually, I love the way Australians are so literal with there namings of areas or locations. You know like, "Deception Bay", "Lake Disappointment", " I'm leaving you for Bruce swamp".

Okay, I made that last one up, the other two are real places.

I bet its a hard sell for the tourist trade getting people to go to Lake Disappointment!

With things like Lake Disappointment I always get the image of 2 explorers looking at it saying "Do you call that a lake? I've seen bigger lakes in my backyard. Bugger me, we've spent six months looking and this is what we get!". :D

there used to be some hilarious threads on here that ran for pages ... bix, soapy, jtl, deadmeat, WBB, wengerboy and jackdaws to name but a few :lol:
