There's no "extra" hours floating about. Just an adjustment of your watch :)
You still start work at the same time, catch buses at the same time.....your routine stays the same. I'm not sure what the fuss is about. I can understand if you like the sun to rise early because you're a morning person, or you want the sun to be up when you're going to work. But a lot of other reasons just don't make sense to me. If clocks change 5 will be 6 which means the heat is 1 hr earlier.. makes perfect sense to me |

If clocks change 5 will be 6 which means the heat is 1 hr earlier.. makes perfect sense to me Without daylight savings: Sun rises at 5am, you start work at 5am. Done this way so you can beat the heat as you said. With daylight savings: Sun rises at 6am (due to pushing clocks back). Option 1: You still start work at 5am. If you can start before the sunrises it would be cooler for an extra hour in the morning. Option 2: If you need the sun to work you can start at 6am, same time as the sun rises. So no different than it is now, except you don't have to start work at 5am. I'm not sure what the problem is here. The sun still rises as usual, our clock just says it's an hour later. The sun doesn't rise at 5am before daylight savings and then continue to rise at 5am after the clocks are changed. With daylight savings the sun would rise at 6am instead. |

If clocks change 5 will be 6 which means the heat is 1 hr earlier.. makes perfect sense to me The sun will continue to rise and fall the same as always. But when you change the clock it will change the time of sunrise. So instead of it rising at 5am it will rise at 6am. So the only difference to you would be that you would probably start work at 6am when the sun rises. The whole point of daylight savings is that it takes an hour of sunlight from the morning and shifts it into the evening. So instead of the sun being up from 5am to say 6pm, you would have it rise at 6am and set at 7pm because of adjusting your clocks for daylight savings. |

Its cool If the clocks change then my normal 5am could become 4am which means my normal 5 am is really 6am.. which means i am starting work in the heat You are assuming that clocks go BACK I am not , as it has been so long since i had daylight savings i forgot, which way it goes... dya get me? |

Re: DAYLIGHT SAVING QLD have your save
The consencus is that DS in QLD will go FWD.
Which means 1 hour extra of HEAT per day. I really really cannot comprehend why we need a further hour of heat each day. |
