I honestly don't know if I want it or not. The only thing I do know is I object to Ms Bligh making such a decision on the say so of half a dozen twits who read the Courier mail.
Whilst it's silly the SE corner doesn't have it, I personally don't need it. Probably not a box for me

Thats one of my gripes - if the majority had voted against it, fine, but there hasn't been a referendum for years.

Re: DAYLIGHT SAVING QLD have your save
We've all got our own reasons for being for or against it. What may work for some may not work for others.
For us, we could really use an extra hour of daylight in the evening when we can use it. I'd gladly give up an hour of sunlight in the morning in exchange.
For people outside, I would think it would help actualy. Let's say you always start work at 6am, without daylight savings the sun is already up for a while before you start work. With daylight savings, the sun would be up later so it would be cooler when you start work. The sun still shines the same hours in the day, we just get to choose what time we want the clock to say when it comes up

You still start work at the same time, catch buses at the same time.....your routine stays the same. I'm not sure what the fuss is about.
I can understand if you like the sun to rise early because you're a morning person, or you want the sun to be up when you're going to work. But a lot of other reasons just don't make sense to me.
