Prob like me, because you don't switch sides after supporting one side all your life and as a kid. I supported England from the age of 5 until I moved here as an adult and will always support England. Love Australia but could never pull on the green and gold in sport.

Easier for you Scots. Anyone but England right? If you are from north of the border I guess you come here fresh with no supporting England history ingrained.

Nope. I'm not English. Simple as that, no hidden agenda. Just don't see why I have to support them. Same rule as football, I know of no Man U fan that would be cheering on Man City in Europe, for example. It's just the way it is, auld enemy and all that.

errrrrr lost me, read my post again, never said you were English And I was pretty much saying that I wouldn't expect you to support England. Is that your default defensive response lol

Don't expect us English to change and support the Aussies.

All over, thank **** for that!

Youve lost me. I didnt say you said I was English. Read my post.

When did I say I expected you to change and support the Aussies?

Seems like you are the one with the default defensive response.

Thumbs up Re: The Cricket Thread (...and other sport)

Australia wins by 381 runs in just 4 days.

OK, I'll take that.

It's a cunning plan to lull them into a false sense of security by England - then they annihilate them in the other 4 Tests.

Honest

Arrow Re: The Cricket Thread (...and other sport)

I went out to prune my roses when England was 2 wickets down, and came back to find they'd lost another 6.

Might be trying that again.

I still say a 2-2 series result, England can't bat that badly all the time, and Johnson is due some pie chuckage.
