Is that why you know nothing about cricket? English cricket has been on Sky for years.

Yeah but I'm in Australia aren't I? Please try and grasp the basics before engaging me in ahem....conversation. You really are becoming very tedious.

Horrified to see that not even highlights were on UK terrestrial TV during the Ashes, that surely can't be where you want to see Australian coverage heading.

If 7s coverage of cricket is anything like its coverage of the Comm Games I wouldn't bother watching.

The radio's (triple m) generally way better commentary wise, I didn't mind 9's coverage that much though.

It just urks me that they try to weasle every drop of money they can out of the fans, trouble is that money is king nowadays.

Cricket is not covered by SKY in the UK. The last series was on a different set up BT sport?

And I am British. So what? You and the rest have not been able to watch cricket on free TV in the UK for 2 decades. Perhaps the reason why test matches sell out where as here they don't.

And next year it will be back on Sky or BeinSport or Netflix or something. It's hardly going to be on the BBC.

Your nationality is as irrelevant as most of your posts, it's our location that's relevant in this case. The highlights have always been available on free to air up until the last ashes, now there is no other way to watch other than to pay through the nose, I think that's a pretty cynical approach.

Test cricket will be staying on FTA though - and that's all that matters. Any other form of the game is joke cricket and not worth the effort or time to watch (apart from the world cup)

That's the one saving grace of these shenanigans, England have done wrong by the less well off fans, and it stinks. I kind of hope they pay the price for it.

That's why I'm glad it will be on Foxtel too. They are even gonna create a dedicated channel for it.
