The reason some people dont fit into uk living is they have neither the wit nor the intellect to be able to engage with the British on a level playing field... Its a serious handicap in many sad cases... Causes dummy spitting and pram toy throwing.. Not very English..

However a common, though previously unmentioned, trait of being essentially British is the ability to be a crashing bore whom no one wishes to be placed next to at dinner parties...

Anyone considering moving to the uk needs to seriously consider these factors... Before purchasingbplane tickets and bringing innthe packers to ship all their australian stolen copper...

Which reminds me.. Is Australuan copper as good as uk copper?... And how much is copper in perf?

I used to be able to buy my local village copper for the price of a pint and a pickled egg....

Both this article in The Age and this article in Business Day say copper theft is a global problem and happens here in Australia. It was happening here before the GFC too.

I kind reminder that moisturising is very important. A night creme is your friend and SPF30 is the minimum you need when facind the sun.

it is amazing that by asking a fairly simply (and reasonably dull, except where it stuffs up daily life) question, it turns into a barrage of UK is better/worse than Au about completely irrelevant stuff.

It is getting pretty surreal and I am definitely getting to the point of giving up posting.
It is all too hard!

You are obviously too busy and intelligent for the barbie....

Us bored people ... Some of us compelled to spend unhealthy amounts of time on BE due to work placed injuries and inability to even quilt for a few minutes at a time and no funds for alternative amusements...like the foxtel being cut off because I'm not being paid because I was casual .... Who camt even go for a walk to the beach.....

....Do go off topic, enjoy playing cat and mouse, have a banter, become quite ethereal and ruin it for all you normal people out there...

There are other sensible places to visit..... Dont know where, coz I dont get out much... But I'm sure if this was just a question in the main section it wouldnt be ruined for you.....
For my part I do try and keep my inane rambling in the barbie...
